Q: We are using your deluxe menu on our live site, but I have a question about the initial setup of the menu.
I need to update the site and a create a new version where the JavaScript Tree Menu is painted, but not initially displayed until the user has been validated. We are runing the entire site from a single page with multiple iFrames. I have been using the code document.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden"; to hide the menu during startup, but I would rather have the floating menu hidden initially and then displayed as the user is validated and gain access to the functionality.
So the question is: Is there a property in the data.js file - or any other file - where the menu can be hidden initially until needed?
A: You can hide the menu onloaddocument.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden";
And then show the floating menu when your user will be validated.
Q: Javascript menu frame Borders are present Firefox but missing in IE7, IE8, Google Chrome, Safari.
Firefox shows the borders ok.
A: You've set the following parameters in this menu:
var menuBorderColor="#FF9191 #FF7837 #E10000 #952D00 ";
var menuBorderWidth=3;
var menuBorderStyle="";
You should specify style for your border, for example:
var menuBorderStyle="solid";
See the attached example. I cannot notice such issue on Safari forWin. Write what version you're using.
Change also
var fontStyle=["normal 8pt Verdana,normal 8pt Verdana","normal 8pt Verdana,normal 8pt Verdana"];
to
var fontStyle=["normal 8pt Verdana","normal 8pt Verdana"];
Q: At the first time arrow images are loaded successfully in the menu, That time I click the menu and open a new page in crossframe.
After that I try to open new page from Main Menu, the arrow images are not displayed in the Sub-menus.

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:
var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
Please, try to use these parameters.
Q: I would like all my submenus of the html menu to appear in the same location on the page and not relative to the parent menu item.
A: You can do it using the following parameters:
var subMenuAlign = "left"; - Horizontal alignment for submenus.
"pleft", "pcenter", "pright" - alignment relative to the parent submenu.
var subMenuVAlign = "top"; - Submenus vertical alignment.
"ptop", "pcenter", "pbottom" - alignment relative to the parent submenu.
