I know how to do it without a floating menu but cannot work out how to do this with it floating.


A: When you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.

Q: Is it possible to insert an item at the top of the submenu in the html popup menu?

A: To insert item in the specific position you should use the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0. See more info about indexes here.
iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.

Q: Where I, that the Submenue of my javascript menu vertical doesn't vanish so quickly, can put in. I want to fade it somewhat later.

A: Try to use the following parameter:  var transDuration = 500;

Q: I was trying out the Vista samples and was able to change the sub-item font size but not the cascade menu javascript item(s) font size. Is this by design?


A: You should change font for the main items in the Individual Styles.
