Q: When I load a page with dhtml menu sample, lets say contact, the first tab is always highlighted, not the contact tab
A: I suppose that you've set the following parameter:
var bselectedItem=1;
So, the first tab is always highlighted.
This Tab menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only. If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem. You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters( var bselectedItem, var bselectedSmItem) or using any server-sidescript (php, asp, etc.)
You should delete this parameter from your data file and write thefollowing code on each page before you call your data file, for example:
<script language="JavaScript1.2>
var bselectedItem = 3;
</script>
Q: Is the Deluxe Tuner application compatible with Deluxe Popup Window?
I haven't been able to use the Deluxe Tuner to create any content through Deluxe Popup Window based on the instructions on the Deluxe Popup Window website.
I feel like I'm missing instructions somewhere.
A: There are 3 types of window content in popup window:Iframe(url); Object_id; text(html content).
You can set the type of the content in the Deluxe tuner (winContent parameter).
Change popup window parameters, use templates.
Then export your project to HTML "File -> Export - > To HTML".
Open the generated data file with all popup window parameters in any text editor and make changes to your content.
For example:
content:"<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><b>Sample content</b></div>This is a simpleHTML code for content. Here you may also set link to content page or ID of some element.",

Q: Could I create a function that displays thetab that the user clicked in the left tab menu.
These tabs are all within the same window, sothe page will always be the same.
Just need a function to make differenttabs appear.
A: Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.
You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.

I have a site all made ready to accept the new menu I made in your trial software. I copy code from the exported page over and place where it seems appropriate. When I preview the menu doesn't display but a link to purchase does. Is this because it is the trial software or something else.
A: When your security settings in browser doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.
