Q: How to modify data.js in deluxe menu to change the font color if the user click on css pull down menu.
Expl. If the user click on 'Webdesign' and then on 'Thema Webdesign' the color dosn't change to #333. So the user don't now, where is it. Please test it on www.media-design.ch. Thank!
A: Javascript/DHTML Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

You should define selitem using server side script.

I have 5 items in the javascript toolbar menu : Admin Options, Status Report, Remarks, Edit Profile, Data Entry.
I want to disable some fields for different users.
I have 3 role id's set in my database.
I want certain fields disabled for different users.
For eg : For Roleid =1 , i.e admin , I want all items to be visible.
For Roleid =2 , i dont want the Admin Options to be visible.
For Roleid=3 , I dont want Admin Options & Status reports.
Can you please elaborate on the working of the changeItemVisibility function. I was confused as there were no examples to demonstrate the code.

Q: JavaScript Tree Menu supports keyboard navigation eg. CTRL+F2 to activate menu.
Why does Deluxe Tabs not have the same feature?
I would like to use both java script navigation menu systems on the same page, and both need to have keyboard navigation for accessibility reasons.
A: Unfortunately it is really so, Javascript/DHTML Tree and Deluxe Tabs doesn'thave such a feature now.
We'll try to add this feature in the next versions of the java script navigation menu.

A: You should use API functions in that case
