Disable/Enable Items
Some of items can be disabled by default.
To disable the item set item's target to "_".
For example:
["My Item", "mypage.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif", "icon3.gif", "Short Tip", "_"]
On this example items "Sample 6", "New Sample 2", and "New Sample 5" are disabled.

Javascript Tree Menu. Expandable Menu.

  • You can set default expanded/collapsed items and submenus.
  • After clicking on menu item selected item becomes highlighted.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.

A: You should set the following java pop up menu parameter:

A: See, now you have:

and you also assign Individual Item Style with itemBackImage anditemWidth parameters for each item

You should delete itemBackImage and itemWidth parameters from itemStyles.


Q: We're running deluxe_tree version 1.0. We are getting the following error:

Any ideas? Should we upgrade to the latest version? If so, what it the upgrade path for us? Will we have to modify our data-tree.js file?


A: Yes, try to use Javascript/DHTML Tree v2.4.
See in Deluxe tree you should specify correct tWorkPath parameter:

This parameter should point to the same folder with dtree.js file.When you use movable or floatable feature you should copy dtree_add.jsfile in the same folder with dtree.js file.
