Q: One of my customers that is utilizing apycom floating navigation bar is getting a malware warning from google. Is there any chance this is caused by your scripts?

A: Actually we're using our menu on several sites and we don't have such problems.

We haven't heard about such problem with the menu from our customers too.

Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in my java menu scripts! I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work Have we a problem with Danish letters like: ø, å, æ?

A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">

You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor, enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.
Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting inorder to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.

Q: I have been working with on a site and I am kind stack using the program. I want to use the tree option but not all “buttons” need to have subcategories. For example:

Category 1

            Sub-menu 1-1
            Sub-menu 1-2
            Sub-menu 1-3

Category 2

            Sub-menu 2-1
            Sub-menu 2-2
            Sub-menu 2-3

Category 3

Category 4

When someone click on the “Category 1” or “Category 2”, I want them to see the sub-menus. However, when some click on “Category 3” or “Category 4”, I would like to have it open the appropriate page. How do I do this? This will make a lot easier because not all buttons need to have sub-menus… I hope that makes sense and you can help me on getting this done.


A: You cannot use links for the top items in XP Style only.

Q: Click on the option "telefoonlijst" and a submenu has to pop-down… whay is this done not OVER the other object (e.e. the 'frameDESKTOP')

Unfortunately, JavaScript Tree Menu can work within 1 frameset only. It can't work within nested framesets.

Notice that you should add dmenu_cf.js file in the folder where your menu is created in.
