Q: I have to find out, how the tree view navigation is NOT expanding in the beginning..

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var texpanded=0;

Use + signs before items text to expand the some items:

["+Land","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],

Q: When I put any new link on my tree view expand it goes as if I am placing as _blank when I have it leading to _self.

A: At the moment you have:
  var titemTarget="_blank";

And you haven't specified "_self" parameter to
   ["||Unilock Fireplace MODS","fireplace_unilock_mods.htm", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],

You should set
  var titemTarget="_self";
or set "_self" parameter for each item individually:
   ["||Unilock Fireplace MODS","fireplace_unilock_mods.htm","", "", "", "_self", "", "", "", ],

Q: I'm trying to have two separate menus on my web page. I read what was written in your FAQs about multiple menus, but the response was too cryptic.

It seems to me that if the dmWorkPath for each menu is declared separately, then the menus should work separately (with no interaction). I did not find this to be the case.

Do you have more complete information about creating multiple menus on one page? I would like to understand the issues.


A: David, if you want to create multiple menus on one page you should only call several data.js files with the menu.

For example you can see templates.html. You can find this file in the trial package.

Q: With menu tabs, I'm trying to dynamically set the bselectedItem parm, using php. If I set bselectedItem to anything other than 0, the submenu goes away and the main html tab javascript is not highlighted.
If I set to 0, everything works.


A: See, if you use Tab Mode
  var tabMode = 1;

  var bselectedItem = 0; //main items
  var bselectedSmItem = -1; //submenus

So you should set:
  var bselectedItem = 0; //main items (0;7;14;21;25)
  var bselectedSmItem = -1; //submenus (1;2;3;4;5....)
