Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:

Q: Do you by chance have the dhtml menu samples working with XML?

A: Unfortunately we don't have working example.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so,you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: This is probably a really basic question, but I was wondering if
your dhtml menu maker makes it possible to determine the direction of the
drop down menu. In other words, my menu is at the bottom of the page
and I want the drop down list to actually go "up," not down.
Is that possible with your software?

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to specify a number of items after which a new column is created.
