A: You can expand all items in Javascript/DHTML Tree, set:
var texpanded=1;
To expand specific items you should add "+" sign before item's text:

You can try to use API functions in that case:
function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)
To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".
You can try to use the following function
function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(0, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.
Q: I am working in a Hispanic area, and need to be able to utilize specialcharacters
in titles in for navigation menus.
However, those are appearing distorted on my website.
A: Actually you can use any letters in the menu.
Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".
When you save your data file in UTF8 you should use the same encoding on our html page.
So you should write:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.
Q: How do I make the top nav buttons exactly the same width for each button?
Total menu width is 743px and I have 6 buttons I want the width of each button to be fixed at 123px.
I set var menuWidth="743" but it averages out the buttons based on the text.
A: You should use individual item styles. For example:
