How to create a drop down menu links to be displayed in the html code for search engines to catch them, is that possible?
A: You can use search engine friendly code and install it on yourpage before you call your data file.
You'll see text links in that case.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

...etc.

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3)
Q: I am spending a lot more time and have figured a few things out. One more question please: How do I specify the target link I want a dhtml submenu to go to?
I see HREF specified in the code, but no where in the program to specify it.
A: See, the following parameter sets target for all items
var itemTarget="_self";
If you want to set different target for each item you should set it inthe "Item Parameters" window. Choose your item in the main window andset target in the target field.
Q: I would like, that not only the text is represented differently when dhtml nav menu item is expanded, also the Icon separates before it at the side where I am.

A: Yes, try to use Javascript/DHTML Tree v2.4.
See in Deluxe tree you should specify correct tWorkPath parameter:

This parameter should point to the same folder with dtree.js file.When you use movable or floatable feature you should copy dtree_add.jsfile in the same folder with dtree.js file.
