A: Unfortunately, JavaScript Tree Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You should write your own code, for example, on PHP.
You can try to use the following function
function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(1, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.

Q: I created a new directory at the root called newmenu and placed all of the menu files there. I pointed this page to that new directoryIt works!
However, when I point my home page to the newmenu directory, the menu disappears again.

A: Yes, try to use Javascript/DHTML Tree v2.4.
See in Deluxe tree you should specify correct tWorkPath parameter:

This parameter should point to the same folder with dtree.js file.When you use movable or floatable feature you should copy dtree_add.jsfile in the same folder with dtree.js file.
