Q: I am not professional website developer … I’ve installed your trial software … but not able to add navigation menu tree in my website. Can you please guide me how I can add tree menus in left side bar of website?
A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.
We'll try to create it in the nearest time.
1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu you like in Deluxe Tuner.
You can use ready to use templates. You can find them in the templateswindow.
When you open Deluxe Tuner ( Javascript/DHTML Tree ) you can click "File/New"and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

You can also use Individual Styles for items and subitems.
2. You should install the tree menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.
Add several rows into your html page.

You should also copy all engine files
dtree.js - menu engine file
dtree_add.js - additional module for floatable/movable menus
dtree_dyn.js - additional module with Javascript API to change the menu "on-the-fly"
dtree_ajax.js - additional module with the AJAX-like support
into "deluxe-tree.files/" folder. You should place this folder in thesame folder with your index.html page.

Q: I need a navigation bar dhtml where on the click of certain items, server side code on the page can be called and executed.
I need to create a multiple item select menu. Sothe menu would need to remain open and allow a user to selectmultiple items and would either submit onmouseout or maybe a “submitthese selections” menu item.

I am having a problem with using it in cross-frames mode when the frame that the sub menu appears in has a vertical scrollbar. Basically I have a header frame and a large content frame below it. The menu itself is appearing in the header frame and the sub menus are dropping down and appearing in the lower frame. There is a vertical scrollbar in the lower (content) frame and when I scroll down, the sub menus get scrolled off the screen. This is because they are being rendered at the very top of the content frame and disappear when the top of the frame is no longer visible due to scrolling. Setting the floatable = 1 attribute does not work because the menu itself is not being scrolled off the screen, just the sub-menu drop down is being scrolled off. Is there anything I can do to make this work with my framed application? Thank you for your time.
A: Unfortunately submenus won't float in cross-frame mode. JavaScript Tree Menudoesn't have such feature now.
Q: Can search engines follow the online javascript menu items?
A: You should generate search engine friendly code and install it on yourpage.
JavaScript Tree Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).
