Q: Using data-visa-5.js
Trying to get the menu to start collapsed rather than fully expanded.
Thought it was the var texpanded=0 setting but doesn't seem to have any effect.
A: See, when you set + sign before item's text that is mean that thisitem will be expanded.

Q: Can your javascript menu examples be used when developing and deploying and running a site using Tomcat-Apache and JSP's? Apache's will be the web server.

It means that it is executed on a client side, not on a server side.So, whatever server you'll use, your menu will work fine.Q: I purchased your product yesterday and was quite impressed, but I am having a bit of a problem with my submenuitems. In the general menu properties there is a "Global" var titemHeight = 22; My problem is that I would like my upper level of my free tree menu to have one itemheight and my submenuitems to have a smaller height. Is this possible?
A: In the XP Style
var tXPStyle=1;
the item's height for the top items and submenus will be different.
If you want to use
var tXPStyle=0;
you can set ite's height for the submenus:
var titemHeight=16;
And for other items use the blank icon with the height you want to have for the upperlevel of your menu items.Q: I would like to purchase a single website deluxe menu to be used in dhtml menu frame bar. I am not a professional web designer.

A: You should create your dhtml menu frame in Deluxe Tuner, save it.
Create html file with your frame set.
Set ID for the first frameset:
