Q: Why is it that when we place a drop menu ina div that the droppping part is not right uner the menu? The menu on top banner is the problem.. Thesame code outside of a div futher down the page works fine.
I can place the same menu outside of the div and it works fine.When it is in a div the drop part of the menu is pushed to the far right of the screen.
A: Brian, see, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "POSITION: absolute" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style (style="POSITION:absolute;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:
You should add style="POSITION: absolute;"
to the
<div id="menu">
So, you'll have:
<DIV id="menu" style="POSITION: absolute;">
Q: It works great in IE, but doesn't work in Firefox.
A: Please, try to specify units in "px".
For example:
var itemPadding = "3px";

Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when i click on a tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row.
I have triedfiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out. Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected in the css tab menu after i click it and goto the page.
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

Q: I am testing your product, and I would like to know, on the menu can the Plus sign be changed to expand a menu to a pointer or bullet?
A: You can use your own icons instead of Plus sign.
