A: Yes, you can create vertical menu using AJAX feature.
There is no such limitation.
See the following parameter:
var dmAJAXCount=0;
That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.
Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.
If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.
It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.
For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.
A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:

Q: I just downloaded the Deluxe-Menu program. It looks very nice, but I keep getting this pop up while trying to set up my first menu:

with a link to the toolbar.html in my program files where the JavaScript Tree Menu installed.
At this point, I am just trying my first menu - not using a browser.

A: I suppose that you're using Windows 2000.
We have some problems with Tuner on this OS.
Unfortunately we didn't fix the issue with Windows 2000 yet.
Try to delete all content from toolbar.html file.

Q: Is it possible set a menu item to pressed when a page is loaded when you have multiple drop down menus on the page?
I have 2 menus side by side and I was able to set the pressed item with the JavaScript API as described in your FAQs but when I try to show an item as pressed in a second menu on the same page, the corresponding item in the first menu shows as pressed. Is there a different function that I can use for this or a way to reset the menu ID in the second menu to start from where the first menu left off so I can use the same function?
A: See the first parameter in
dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
function is index of the menu.
So, if you use several menus on the one page you should use differentmenuInd parameter.
For example you have:
