Q: I would like to add your tree structure to my web page. I need to know if I can add substantial data to the expanded tree structure, for instance:

And here is the expanded content that takes up three paragraphs and

Can your deluxe-tree accept multiple lines and paragraphs with wrapping in the sub items, or is it for one or two line menu data only.

You can also use <br> tags in the item text, for example:

Q: I have to find out, how the tree view navigation is NOT expanding in the beginning..

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var texpanded=0;

Use + signs before items text to expand the some items:

Q: I am in the early stages of desgning a website for a client and am looking for a particular menu script.
I came across your site ad am impressed with the options. However, I am haivng trouble finding something that will do what the client is looking for.
With a horizontal menu bar across the top, a drop down sub-menu appears but the menu items appear side by side insdie of in a column.
I was hopeing that one of your options might be able to handle this type of menu but I do not see that there is a script for it. Is that true or is it possible to achieve this example in a setting in one of your scripts.

Q: I can’t highlight the selected menu item of the current page in the javascript flyout menu?


A: Please, check the following parameter

  var pressedItem=-2;
This parameter sets an index of an item that will be highlighted by default.
-2 - the toggle mode is disabled;
-1 - the toggle mode is enabled, but no items highlighted by default;
0,1,2,3,... - index of highlighted item in a top-menu.

The menu has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.

You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page.
That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

You can also set the correct:
  var pressedItem=1;
parameter on each html page.
