Disable/Enable Items
Some of items can be disabled by default.
To disable the item set item's target to "_".
For example:

On this example items "Sample 6", "New Sample 2", and "New Sample 5" are disabled.

A: To disable items you should set item target parameter as "_".

For example:

Q: The plus symbols (+) for Home, PRODUCT CATALOG, and Back are almost non visible and I can not find a parameter to move the collapsible tree menu to the right or to put a border on the left side.

A: You set the following style:

#menu TABLE {
PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; FONT-SIZE: 1em; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; MARGIN: -4px; PADDING-TOP: 0px; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse
}

You should delete
MARGIN: -4px;
style or set it:
MARGIN: -4px -4px -4px 0px;

Q: Hi there. I need to be able to customize the x & y coordinates of each submenu in the javascript horizontal menu. I don't see such a control in the GUI interface. How can I do this?

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to set these parameters for eachsubmenu individually. You can set them for all submenus.

Use the following parameters ('Positioning' section):
  var topDX=0;
  var topDY=1;
  var DX=-5;
  var DY=0;

Q: Is it possible to have the AJAX menu aligned vertical instead of horizontal? And is the number of levels limited? (I have a site that requires up to 4 levels...)

A: Yes, you can create vertical menu using AJAX feature.

There is no such limitation.
See the following parameter:
var dmAJAXCount=0;

That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.
